Conditioning

Our instructors are fully qualified mobility instructors and personal trainers So you couldn't be in better hands when embarking on your condition in journey 

Conditioning is integral to all sports to achieve high performance and the prevention of injury but particularly in sports like calisthenics, Aerial arts & pole because the demands on the body are so high 

we primarily split Strength conditioning into two categories joint specific strength conditioning & mobility this is because in sports like aerial silks for example there is high demands for both strength and flexibility if you are to successfully execute certain moves safely

For example certain movesets if they are to be achieved demand holding a split in the air now if you have never conditioned the flexibility to get into the splits  or condition with the muscles to be able to hold the splits in the air  you either won't be able to do it or at the worst case scenario you will injure yourself 

this scenario can play out time and time again with multiple movesets within all the disciplines and this is why at primal we take conditioning seriously and so should you either if your a complete beginner or seasoned athlete conditioning is the most foundational of your performance

Aerial conditioning

Aerial conditioning is a class specifically designed to condition you you for all of the different aerial disciplines and pole  it was a combination of strength conditioning work and mobility and flexibility work but is primarily focused on the strength conditioning aspect of these sports to prepare your body for what is to come

Our primal mobility classes are designed by fully qualified mobility coaches offer the highest quality in mobility training in this class not only will you gain passive flexibility this is the ability for your joints two passively open into their Rangers but we will also work on active flexibility as well then we finish off this with a well-rounded approach of conditioning the joint to bear weight at its end range this is the Area where the vast majority of injuries occur

Primal mobility - Shoulders

shoulders the Achilles heel of many athletes but particularly pole athletes the shoulders are a complicated joint with a wide range of Motion and lots of muscles making the joint of vary densely compacted in this class you will learn a lot about the anatomy of the shoulder and and key areas that are prone to tension and how to fix them to give you truly bombproof shoulders
